Apostle Jason Mays
Apostle Jason Mays was born and raised in Frankfort, KY. He is the oldest of six children, husband of Pastor RoseAnn Mays, and father of Gregory, Jaida, DiAnna and Olivia. At an early age, Pastor Jason made a commitment to serve The Lord. Also at an early age, Pastor Jason received the baptism of the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in tongues and it changed his life forever.
Under the leadership of Pastor Paul Brannon of the First Assembly of God Church in Frankfort, KY, Pastor Jason served in many ministry capacities. He was the Music Pastor for five years while he maintained his membership at his home church Seven Stars Ministries. Pastor Jason had been preaching for over 15 years, and, in 2008, he received his Minister's license. He was later ordained as an Elder in October 2011 with his former church, Seven Stars Ministries under the leadership of Pastor Louis Miles and Prophetess Robin Miles. While under their leadership, Pastor Jason had a prophetic impartation from Prophetess Miles and received a higher calling.
Throughout Pastor Jason's life, he knew that The Lord had a special calling on his life through his many struggles and triumphs. These trials and tribulations helped him to minister to those who sought a closer relationship with God. Because of the anointing on his life and his talents, many doors have opened for Pastor Jason to work in ministry. God affirmed the prophetic impartation and told him that "now" was the time for Pastor Jason to begin his own ministry.
Pastors Jason and Pastor RoseAnn Mays stepped out on faith, just like Moses, and birthed out Bread of Life Ministries in February 2012. God has smiled on this ministry and continues to open doors for Apostle Mays to speak at numerous revivals and to witness countless souls saved and filled with the Holy Ghost. Apostle Mays desires to see God's people restored, healed and delivered as well as walk in the place that God has ordained for them to be in.
Pastor RoseAnn Mays
Pastor RoseAnn Mays was born in Fort Knox, KY and is the third of seven children. She is the mother of four children - Gregory, Jaida, DiAnna and Olivia. As the daughter of a now retired U.S. Soldier, Pastor RoseAnn was brought up in several churches, including one in Germany. However, Greater Bethel Temple Church in Louisville, KY is where she received the Holy Ghost in March of 1995, and it is where her roots remain. At Greater Bethel, under the leadership of Suff. Bishop Eugene Stewart, she was involved in many ministries. Pastor RoseAnn began as a section leader in the youth choir, and at 16 years old, became its director. She was on the praise team, and she often sang with her mother and sisters. With her mother and siblings, Pastor RoseAnn was a part of their family group called Highly Favored.
Pastor Mays attended Kentucky State University, where she was involved in their concert choir and gospel ensemble. Despite her challenges in later becoming a young single mother, she received her Bachelor’s Degree in English.
In 2006 Pastor Mays found another church home at Seven Stars Ministries, where she served as their church administrator, minister, choir director, trustee, and praise team leader. She also met her future husband, Jason Mays there. They were both ordained as Elders in 2011, but they had no idea what was to come. After being married for a short time and having their first child, they were obedient to God’s calling. And after meeting with their pastors, decided to leave the ministry. Upon leaving, they received a huge outpouring of support from the First Assembly of God in Frankfort, KY; where Jason Mays served as praise team leader, and to date, they maintain a relationship with the ministry.
In 2012, the Pastors began having church in the Methodist Student Center on Morehead State University’s campus in Morehead, KY, where Pastor RoseAnn functioned as the praise and worship leader. However, God quickly moved them to another location in town. Pastor Mays is the Sabbath School Superintendent, and founded the Bread of Life women’s ministry, S.A.C.R.E.D. (Sisters Allowing Christ to Reign Empower and Dominate). S.A.C.R.E.D has hosted several women's conferences, and God has blown their minds every time! After some time, God led Pastor Mays to change the name of the ministry to W.O.W. (Women of Warfare). Though the territory is new, Pastor RoseAnn has full faith in God that He will always be true to His Word. Her song and life theme continues to be "Weeping may endure for a night, but JOY comes in the morning!" Regardless of what comes, she always encourages people to stick with God because He NEVER fails! To God be the glory for the things He has done and yet to do! Praise the Lord, Everybody!
